Illumination of the sky above the horizon before sunrise
In the suburbs of Vladivostok there is the coastal district of Sedanka, which in Soviet times was famous for its numerous children’s camps, holiday houses and sanatoriums. There was also a Resort Administration with “Kurorttorg” shops. Now this territory is more like an elite village, the cottages of which are located on numerous sections of the former Soviet infrastructure. But in these places there are still old houses where their elderly owners live out their lives.
Local old-timers say that here you can still hear the phantom sounds of a pioneer bugle, the hum of a once-existing chain carousel, and musicians at the former sailors' rest house. These auditory hallucinations, as part of romantic memories of the Soviet past, can resurrect something that has gone long ago.
By staying at least one night in an old house on Sedanka, you have a chance to open a portal to the halls of times once lived. From numerous stories about resurrection from the dead, we remember that it is impossible to restore what no longer exists without consequences. Therefore, surviving until the morning and preserving yourself is the minimum task.
And then — dawn.
